This is my first attempt at a circular/mandala design. I used string 017 and changed patterns in each round at the string divisions.

This is one big tangle pattern with other patterns within it. Starting with TanglePatterns string 011, the main pattern is strircles with wisket, Knightsbridge, keeko and baton.

This was my first proper attempt at joining tangles in the way demonstrated by Carol Ohl. Certainly not perfect, but a good start. I used TanglePatterns string 010.

This one was really challenging. I think it was partly the intricate string and then I went with a fairly intricate main pattern, which left me struggling to find a suitable background/filler pattern. I don’t looove this one, but I like that my ability to create more perspective is developing. Using string 008 from tanglepatterns.com and patterns scallops, feathers, plait and cubine.
