Fimo necklace

January 6, 2014 · 1 Comment

Inspired by the necklaces of large round & square beads that I have seen at markets, I bought some Fimo! I haven’t used this stuff for years. It’s fun, but also takes some practice to do really well; you need to get the right plasticity, not leave finger prints, not get bits of fluff or other colours on the light colours, and have a really flat baking surface if you’re setting pieces with large flat surfaces: the round beads were fine to rest on one of their holey ends.

Those smaller spacer beads are wooden. They go quite nicely!
