Zentangle #5 an experiment of squares

I’m not loving this one so much, but I wanted to see what I could do with a very curved string and square patterns.

I used string 002 from tanglepatterns.com and drew a grid in pen across all of it. I probably should have done my grid in stages, but this was an interesting challenge.

The patterns used are: variation on spinning, framz, yincut, atorm, flukes, dex, arabel.
I could certainly work on my uniformity for patterns like dex and flukes. Also it seems smaller patterns forgive more mistakes than larger ones.
